Race Distance: 200m Sprints & 100m Dash for Cash
Boats: Four (4) Standard BUK Dragon Boats 

Heats & Finals: We aim to hold two heats and a final. However, this is dependent on the number of race entries and will be notified at the time of publishing the race schedule. Final placings will be decided on best times in the heats in the event of no finals.

Paddles and life jackets
Paddles need to be IDBF approved.
Life jackets are required for Sweeps and Drummers and recommended for all participants. A limited number will be available to borrow.

Team composition and racing rules
Refer to DBNSW for AusDBF Race rules and Regulations with NSW Bylaws and requirements of the Event Organisers.

Awards
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed teams in the 200m Sprint races will receive pins.
• 100m Dash for Cash will receive $100.00.
• The overall Western Region Club winner will receive a prize.
• The winning Dragons Abreast Challenge team receives a Perpetual Trophy.
