Invictus trains all year round at varied days and times ... there is always a weekly on water session that you can attend!

 

Scheduled Training 2023-24

 

Winter training (from 11 May 2024)

Saturdays: 9.45am - 12.00pm
Warm up @ 9.45am sharp

Pre-season (from 7 September 2024)

Saturdays: 7.45am - 10.00am 
Warm up @ 7.45am sharp 

Competitive season (from 5 October 2024)

Mondays and Thursdays: 5.45pm - 7.00pm
Warm up @ 5.45pm sharp

Wednesday HIIT Session: 6.00am - 6.45am
Warm up @ 5.45am sharp

Saturdays: 7.45am - 10.00am 
Warm up @ 7.45am sharp

NOTE:  On Saturdays during summer (September to April) there will be no training when DBACT regattas are scheduled.  Click here to see scheduled regattas. 

(Note: Times are set to allow warm ups and cool downs on land. If conditions are unsafe for going on the water, land based training may be held instead - so make sure you have your sports shoes in the car for every session.)

 

Any time:  Self-paced and directed
Erg Machine, jog, sit-ups, push-ups, weights, burpees etc. Just ask and we will link you up with other keen members. All extra training is included in your membership.

You determine your commitment. At Invictus we have a range of paddlers from Australian Champions to beginners. We welcome every standard of fitness and social paddlers are very welcome as well. Paddle with us and you will get stronger, fitter and leaner.

There will be times when the coach will expect more time on the water training and this commitment request depends on what events are occurring and your availability. For example, there is a build up of training from November onwards in preparation for the Australian Championships.

Please note: there are about 100 carparks at Menindee Drive , if this carpark is full please park in the parking spaces at Russell Offices and take care crossing Morsehead Drive.  Please do not park at The Boat House or Clare Holland House.
