2023 ACT Championships Wrap Up

The weekend of 18-19 March was a hot weekend of racing in every sense as the Canberra dragon boat community came together for the 2023 ACT Dragon Boat Championships. A dozen or more hot air balloons above our Lake Burley Griffin racecourse set the scene for a something special.

DBACT Regatta 6

The final DBACT regatta before ACT Championships was held on Saturday 4 March and both of our women's crews made the final of the 200m 10s, with Invictus Soul carving it up once again to come home in first place.

Invictus Conquers the Ord!

Yesterday an Invictus crew completed the 55km Ord River Marathon, an event that runs from the Lake Argyle dam wall to the lagoon at Kununurra, WA.

2021 Pan Pacific Masters Games

Paddlers from ACT and interstate clubs are invited to join Invictus to compete at the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast from 12-13 November 2021.

Invictus 2021 winter training

Invictus trains all year round and during the off-season between 12 June to 28 August, Invictus will train on Saturday mornings at Grevillea Park: 9.45 am warmup 9.30m on the water New paddlers welcome ... your first three sessions are free and all equipment is provided.

Invictus Inaugural Presentation Night

Invictus held our inaugural presentation night last night at Ginseng Restaurant, Hellenic Club Woden. Presentation was all about our members and our club ethos, and everyone was acknowledged for their efforts during the season.

Invictus takes on Nowra

Invictus raced at the Nowra COVID and Fire Recovery Regatta over the weekend, with 41 members joining in the fun and paddling themselves into both finals and 4th place in the 2km turn race.
